Behavioural ecologistMy research focuses on parental investment, movement ecology and foraging behaviour, primarily in seabirds and waders. In my approach to study behavioural and evolutionary ecological questions, I like to combine traditional behavioural observations with more modern techniques such as GPS-tracking. Driven by my curiosity, I am eager to find out how nature works.
Outside the office I enjoy hiking, bird watching and expanding my whiskey collection. Education PhD Biology - University of Antwerp/Ghent University, Belgium (2020) MSc Biology - University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands (2013) BSc Biology - University of Groningen, the Netherlands (2011) |
